Dojo Toolkit - With John Moore

The Dojo Toolkit is an open-source, industrial-strength JavaScript toolkit for building rich web applications. Dojo is a lightning-fast, robust, full-stack toolkit, providing UI widgets, ajax functionality, animation, DOM manipulation, eventing and much much more. Dojo supports Internationalization (i18n) and Accessibility (a11y), and is being supported by companies such as IBM, Sun, AOL, Zend, and more. Come learn more about what Dojo has to offer, and how to evaluate when it is appropriate for your applications. Find out what's new in the world of Dojo and get a peek at some cool code.

About the Presenter: John Moore is a Rich Internet Application architect who has been working on the client side of web applications for 12+ years. He is the co-founder of Quai, Inc. and RIAspot.com. He has provided cutting-edge web interfaces for many companies including Ernst & Young, Fidelity Investments, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Wachovia Bank. He is an Adobe certified Flex developer, and currently is developing a suite of components built on top of the Dojo toolkit.
