I just downloaded and installed the new Google Chrome browser beta from http://www.google.com/chrome. I have to say that, so far, I am extremely impressed. In fact, I am writing this from Chrome.

On first blush, Chrome is extremely fast. It launches fast, and it seems to render pages faster than Firefox 3 or IE 7. I like that each tab is its own processor, and Google has done a bunch of work to avoid the memory leaks present in other browsers.

It's design is highly functional. I think this will quickly become the third most popular browser on the market. Only in beta still, the buzz is huge around this.
